About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Biashara, which runs Biashara at https://biasharahq.com. By creating an account or using Biashara you agree to them. If you use Biashara for a business, you agree for that business too.
Your account
- Give true details, and keep your password and two-step verification codes to yourself.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account and by the people you invite to your business.
- Tell us at once at support@biasharahq.com if you think someone else has used your account.
Your business's information
- The information you put into Biashara (products, sales, customers, suppliers, debts, expenses and files) belongs to your business.
- We keep it, show it to the people you allow, and back it up. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
- You can download all of it at any time (Settings → Import & export).
- You are responsible for having the right to record the people whose details you enter, such as your customers, and for keeping those details correct.
Plans, trials and payment
- Some features need a paid plan. Prices, limits and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you choose.
- A trial ends on the date shown. Unless you choose a paid plan, your business then moves to the free plan.
- Invoices are payable by their due date. If a plan is not paid, the business becomes read-only after a grace period, and its information is kept.
- Prices may change. We tell you before a change affects you.
Using Biashara fairly
Do not use Biashara to break the law, to send messages people did not agree to receive, to try to reach other businesses' information, or to overload or attack the service.
Messages you send
When you send receipts, reminders or other messages by SMS, WhatsApp or email from Biashara, you are the sender. Send them only to people who expect them, and stop when someone asks. Message costs and limits are part of your plan.
Payments through gateways
Online payments are handled by the payment gateway you or we connect (for example Selcom, AzamPay, Pesapal or Flutterwave) under that gateway's own terms. Biashara records a payment only after the gateway confirms it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Biashara available and your information safe, and we back it up every day. The service may sometimes stop for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features; we will not remove your information because of a change.
Ending
You may stop using Biashara at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you when we reasonably can. After an account closes we keep the information for a limited time so you can download it, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Responsibility
Biashara helps you keep records; you remain responsible for your business decisions and for the taxes and reports your business must file. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
